Hello! Call me Newton. While I'm happy with anything and love all stamps, I particularly collect stamps from the following topics:

THE ARCTIC/ANTARCTIC & POLAR EXPLORATION, anything under this topic is exciting for me but I pay particular focus to
- Antarctic exploration, especially the Heroic Age (1890s-1920s)
- The First Belgian Antarctic Expedition
- Ernest Shackleton, his expeditions (though moreso his later ones, such as the Endurance and Quest), and the other men on them
- Anything regarding Emil Racoviță
- Polar wildlife (flora, fauna, etc.)
- Circumpolar peoples
- Stamps from Circumpolar countries & Antarctic territories
I am currently deficient in stamps regarding Roald Amundsen, the Terra Nova expedition, and Polar flights, so anything like that would be appreciated!

ANYTHING ART & ART HISTORY, especially
- Art of the Middle Ages (I'm a medievalist!)
- Religious history, Saints and holy figures, deities, monks and mendicants, religious objects and images
- Clothing history, including folk/local dress
- Books, manuscripts, book illuminations & miniatures
- Archaeological finds, objects, and sites
- Architecture
- Folktales, myths, and legends
- Literally anything under this topic, honestly, go crazy, I'm not picky

NAUTICAL TOPICS & HISTORY, especially
- Sailships and sailboats, whether for war or exploration or recreation
- Nautical disasters (see: my Polar exploration collecting)
- Whales & whaling
- Ocean wildlife

I am also interested in STAMPS AS ARTISTIC ITEMS, and love stamps with a strong aesthetic direction.

But I mean it when I say I am happy with anything! All I ask is that you make it interesting--whatever that means to you. And if you have something in the aforementioned topics and would like to send it, then that will make me incredibly happy.

A lot of the stamps I have available to give away and trade are older, particularly from the mid 20th century, and are mostly political (with heads of state and national imagery) or commemorative of history. I go hunting for stamps at estate sales a lot, so I tend to "inherit" hoards of older stamps.
